Say it ain't so Joe
When news of the cancellation came, Napolitano’s fans grumbled, but then the conspiracy theories hit the Net. They cited a segment he did on his show in January of this year and posted it on YouTube on January 6. The video got little attention until after Napolitano got his pink slip from Fox Business earlier this month and his fans claimed it as the reason for the firing. The video: “What if they’re lying to you about Ron Paul?” has gone viral in the past couple of days with 169,972 views at this writing and many thousands of views at other sites where people have posted it.

According to an article in American Free Press written by Pat Shannan, he writes, “In recent days, former New Jersey Superior Court Judge Andrew Napolitano had been drifting dangerously close to the exit doors by providing the American people with simply too much truth.” However, Fox executives claim they made the move because of low ratings.

Napolitano is on record as saying that Israel has been playing a prime role in promoting a war between the U.S. and Iran. His final guest, Michael Scheurer, the former chief of the CIA’s Osama bin Laden-watching unit, also made that claim and still another which Napolitano embraced, and that is that a war between the U.S. and Iran would benefit Israel and Saudi Arabia but be detrimental to the United States. As the conspiracy theories continue to make their rounds across the Net, Napolitano’s fans continue to email Fox News in protest of their decision.

In a Facebook posting, Napolitano said that he had been fired twice before from Fox and after each time, “Fox has rewarded me with more and better work.” He has asked his fans to “PLEASE STOP SENDING EMAILS TO MY COLLEAGUES AT FOX ABOUT THE CANCELLATION OF FreedomWatch; and please stop NOW.”

Whatever the real reason for the cancellation of Napolitano’s show, I’m sure we haven’t heard the last of the judge. Even though the executives cancelled his show, they have kept him on as a pundit and we’ll see him on other shows giving legal opinion and insight. Perhaps Fox will soon develop another show around him, or another network may scoop him up for another project. In any case, we’re sure to see more of the judge soon. His fan base is too big and too loud to ignore.
